My eulogy

Our grandparents are some of the best people in the world. Well at least mine are! My Grandfather passed before I was born, however I as blessed to know my grandmother. They always bring gifts every time they visit and they can scold our parents. I was very close to my grandmother.
I know we are all grieving today for we all lost a great lady. But I know wherever she is now she’s happy and contented with what she left us. She was a mother, a sister and a friend to all of us. I’m sure each and every one of you here today has something to share on how my grandmother touched your life. She shared a lot of good memories, she was extremely kind hearted and always loving.
She also was a very feisty lady, she always tried getting her way and you dared not argue with her, it was more than your life's worth.
Although she never got the chance, I think in her own way she was able to show us how important we all were to her. We may no longer see her but we’ll always have these special moments we shared with her. She will always have a special part in our hearts. Let’s just be thankful that we knew a special lady like my grandmother.

More than a Mother

You only have one mother
So patient ind and true
No other friend in all the world
Will be the same as you.

When other friends forsake you
To her you can return
For all her loving kindness
She asks nothing in return
.
As we look upon her picture
Sweet memories we recall
Of a face so full of sunshine
And a smile for one and all.

Her life was love and labour
Her love for the family - True
She did her best for everyone
And now says
God Bless You.

My Sermon to my Mother
We are joined here to honor and remember the life of Elsie Bean, whom we knew as Elsie, Mam, Granma, Grreatgranmabut was always known as FRIEND.As I stand here today I consider what to say on such an occasion as this. It becomes apparent my words are for my own dearly departed mother Eslie Bean, so I say to you all here with mixed emotions, there are many occasions in life that draw people together but non affect us more than coming togehter in the House of Mourning to share our tears. When faced with partings of loved ones, the big questions surface, Why? why now when there are so many unanswered questions?. I think the biggest question is why do loved ones leave us when we need them the most.
Death for us all is inevitable also something that many view with fear and dread, Elsie faced hers with her eyes open and head on. So as I stand here,I ask you all to remember what Elsie brought out of us and what she put into our lives. She was always happy to help others in times of need but would never ask for anything in return. A service like this gives one the chance to remember their past and how Elsie touched them in some kind and special way, which made their life better. Elsie did believe in the good within people, although she was not a preacher she did preach sermons by dedication and love for others. There is not a single thing we can say or do here today that would any effect upon the destiny of Elsie Bean. We simply leave such matters in the hands of God, who knoweth and doeth all things well.
Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saint. In this case one of his children has gone home. This is how I felt that sa day Elsie Bean left us

Together again

I hope you and dad are catching up on lost time as it was nearly 41 years since you were last together. Hope baby Bradley isn't giving you too much trouble as I did when I was young. I miss you so much and wish I could tell you how much you mean to me and how much I love you and always in.

Her Journey's Just Begun

Don't think of her as far away-
her journey has just begun
Life hold so many facets-
this Earth is only one.
Just think of her as resting
from the sorrow and the tears
in a place of warmth and comfort
where there are no days and years.
Think how she must be wishing
that we could know today
how nothing but our sadness
can really pass away
And think of her as living
in the hearts of those she touched
for nothing loved is ever lost
and she was loved so much!
